Duncan Mackay

Duncan Mackay joined the Karioi Project in 2017 as the Karioi Biodiversity Ranger, thanks to funding from the Department of Conservation. He is also a surfboard builder and enjoys surfing, gardening, poetry, philosophy, learning, hanging out with his cat Tequila or hanging ten with his friends. As the Karioi Ranger he worked on the feral cat control program as well as intensive possum control on the Maunga. His role has now expanded to include facilitating the Manaaki Ao program at Raglan Area School.
